Ability to schedule items listed in the Activity List area to the calendar

Would it be possible to add a feature which enabled the user to add file-work-appointment in the Schedule by using the right-click-pop-up-menu in the Activity Area List?

Currently, we are manually entering in appointments in the schedule to book time for tasks. This practice duplicates entries in the activity list (one entry for the task and one entry for the appointment), and is an inefficient use of staff member’s time.
